Local plants do better. That's true anywhere, but especially here in the desert. They actually sell plants that will survive in your yard, not just look pretty in the pot at the nursery.

A green oasis in the middle of ABQ. Incredible selection of plants and seeds, both edible and ornamental. Rated for hardiness zones 3-7, you are guaranteed to find something special for your yard.

Very cool place. Actually went just to visit the garden nursery Inside shop has 2 posters I want to buy, heavy prints of native New Mexico flowers, one spring, the other summer fall. Did not buy as I was cycling. Inside shop also has seeds, cards and other items. I did ask about a plant I had hoped to find, they looked it up, currently not stocked. They did take the time to check.

We arrived from out of town close to closing time and the staff was very helpful in choosing plants and completing the transaction before closing. What a great selection of healthy plants!

A great selection of native plants and edible plants including amazing selection of trees. They use local growers and suppliers when possible and grow many plants from seed in house. Their selection is amazing. The people are kind and the plants do really well.
